This is the perfect sharpening stone for scissors, secateurs and shears. The bottom of each stone is slightly concave and designed in such a way that it fits the convex curve of the cutting blade perfectly. This makes it easy to get the angle of attack correct for secateur and scissor blades which need to be sharpened only periodically.  Whereas as flat face or top of the stone is perfect for shears and topiary clippers in my opinion they need a quick sharpen before each use.

Soak your sharpening stone in water for about 3 minutes before use, you’ll know its read when bubbles stop rising to the top and always treat your stone with care because if you drop them they will crack or break.
