Standard issue in Japan, where these snips are considered the every day, go-to choice for lighter weight pruning, dead heading and general cutting back of perennials. They are also the snips I use all day long for conditioning flowers in the potting shed as they have a simple direct action, resulting in a clean, efficient cut.  I love the yellow grip as I can always spot them in the garden or the compost heap!
